Pilgrim Read Alouds

The Awesome Learners are learning how life was as a child in the 1600s.
After reading these two texts about pilgrim life, the children will decide if THEY would like to be a pilgrim child.  Next week, we will begin to write an opinion piece of writing that explain why or why not.  Stay tuned for our pieces of writing!

Mayflower Passenger Project

The second graders have been consumed by Pilgrims!  We selected a pilgrim passenger who rode the Mayflower in the voyage of 1620.  Next, we wrote a biography in an autobiographical format.  Last, we created our pilgrims and shared our amazing work with our friends and teachers!  Enjoy our moments...
